Selling on eBay

Sometime eBay announced that over 430,000 people were making a full or part time living on eBay. Many of you saw that information and thought "I could be one of those people."

At the same time, a study done by A.C. Neilson, the well known polling company, found that the number one concern among most new and experienced eBay sellers is deciding what products to sell and where to find those products.

When you combine those two pieces of information, the abundance of "How To Find Products To Sell On eBay" information that is now available on the net shouldn't come as any surprise.

Everywhere you look you will find lists of drop shippers, supposed wholesalers, hot items and keyword products, along with products that tell you how to find wholesalers on your own that claim to be your ticket to success.

At first glance it's easy to see why these products look attractive to many of you. But the reality is that 99% or more of them are nothing more than a recipe for failure.

Some eBay sellers who have consistently made a profit from eBay say that:

"Ninety-nine percent of sellers involved in drop shipping and wholesale lists don't have a clue. That's what keeps the people who sell the lists in business.

The bottom line is this - If there was money to be made with drop shipping, the people with the inventory would be placing the eBay ads themselves because they are already doing nearly all the work. The same applies to wholesale lists. If there was money to be made with these companies the people selling the lists would be using these sources themselves.
